The Road, The Journey, The School

The journey back to Long Makabar on 14 of january 2009, this is somewhere near Long Lapok.
This is when i went back to Long Makabar from Miri recently. Been to Miri recently for an official duty with one of my colleague. This particular strecth of road is from Bakong, Beluru to Long Lapok.

The maintenance of this road is under CMS because this road is a state road status. But it seems that they have done nothing to this road, just some grading and get all the mud back on the middle of the road. Macam tak ada engineering capability on maintaining the road. Peoples from the Ulu Baram area use this one and only road to go to Miri and this road is a very important route for them. Even the logging company is able to do good maintainance on their logging road, which I love to called it as the logging highway. Anyway, the journey to my school is some 6 hours more from this part of the road...so, buckle up.
